the fine point enables you to lift the thread up and cut very easily instead of useing a seam ripper. i also use these to cut around appliques and so close. The curve makes it better operating. Joanne, Calif.

I love these scissors. The fine point and curve of the scissors allows you to get into the tiniest of areas and clip the thread or material. Great product and great price!

I just received this when I bought a 2pack bundle set. 5 stars is for the price and quality. 4 star if u are comparing this with Gingher for quality. :P
The gold coating or plating is not really done nicely (have grey spots) but thats just cosmetics. The scissors trim away thread nicely and I like the arch of the scissors. Easier to snap away the thread while doing embroidery. If you prefer light scissors, then this is good for u. Its lighter than my Gingher 4" Embroidery scissors.

I don't know why I seemed to have gotten the lemon. These were recommended to me by a friend and I am so dissapointed in the quality in fact 1 pair will just plain not cut anything. I am wondering if these ae refurbished scissors and someone forgot to refurbish these? They sent the wrong scissors the 1st time and were quicke to send the new right ones... I wish they were as quick to resend ones that cut or something.
